Having analysed written accounts, archaeological, and toponymical sources, Świętosławski concludes that the representatives of the Steppe people time and again visited Polish territory. What is more, in the 10th, 11th, and 12th c. these nomads were much frequent guests that has been assumed so far, and the effects of their attacks were very different. |
